Privacy Policy

Heritage Real Estate buys real estate for its own account. This policy explains what we collect when you request a cash offer, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.

What you give us

When you submit the offer form, we receive only what you type into it:

Address suggestions

As you type a property address, we ask Google's Places service for matching addresses so you do not have to type the whole thing. Only the characters you type in that one field are sent, and they are sent from our server rather than from your browser — Google does not receive your name, phone number, or anything else on the form, and places no cookie or script on this page. Suggestions are only a convenience: you can ignore them entirely and type whatever describes the property, which is what most farmland and vacant ground needs anyway.

What we record automatically

Alongside your submission we store a small amount of technical information, used to tell real inquiries apart from automated spam and to understand which ads or links bring people here:

What we do not do

How we use it

To evaluate your property, prepare an offer, and contact you about it. That is the whole purpose. We may look up publicly available property records — deeds, parcel data, assessed values, recorded sales — the same records anyone can access.

Calls, texts, and email

By submitting the form you agree that we may call, text, or email you about your property at the contact details you provide, including by automated means. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to any text, or simply tell us, and we will stop contacting you.

If you give us an email address, we send an automated message confirming we received your request. Email is optional — leaving it blank does not affect your offer.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in a private, access-restricted database hosted by Supabase. The site is served by Vercel, the notification and confirmation emails are sent through Google Cloud and Google Workspace, and address suggestions come from Google Places. All act as infrastructure providers on our behalf. We keep inquiries for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on the property, and to meet recordkeeping obligations.

Your choices

Call us at (217) 821-2293 to see what we hold about you, correct it, ask us not to contact you again, or have your inquiry deleted. We will honor deletion requests except where a record must be retained for a transaction already in progress or by law.

Children

This site is meant for adults conducting real estate transactions, not for children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
